ANZ Centre Refurbishment

RCP is proud to have been the project manager on this landmark project in Auckland’s CBD. We were engaged by both Precinct Properties and ANZ to manage the circa $100m refurbishment and major redevelopment of this iconic 32-level office tower serving to reposition it as premium office space.

This project involved the refurbishment of over 72,000 sq ft of office space, a commercial meeting suite, and a new fully-glazed entry pavilion together with a refurbished ground floor lobby and the replacement of 16 lifts.  

Alongside secure access, café, and 24/7 concierge facilities, the ANZ Centre offers all the end-of-trip and related amenities needed to support an easy commute or exercise during the day. Showers, lockers, changing rooms, and bike storage help people make the most of the adjacent cycle and pedestrian routes.  

The project also delivers on opportunities to achieve environmental benefits through the upgrading of the building’s services throughout. Energy consumption was substantially reduced by 30% owing to the installation of chilled beams to the refurbished office floors. The system also features 100 percent outside air provisions, making the refurbishment a leading example of commercial office space in Auckland.
